We provide Nature-Led, experiential education that nurtures curiosity, ecological awareness, and equitable access to the outdoors.

Our mission is to nurture awe, curiosity, and care for nature through hands-on learning, ancestral ecological knowledge, and long-term mentoring. Rooted in equity, access, and reverence for the land, we bring environmental education directly into local parks and open spaces.

Rooted in Wonder, our year-round outdoor mentorship program, serves urban youth (ages 5–18) across Santa Clara County—creating opportunities for nature connection where it’s needed most.

Be In Nature offers unique programming for diverse learners, designed to help children thrive in outdoor, hands-on, and supportive environments.

    Be in Nature 2026

    Starting in January 2026, Be in Nature will be facilitating a project in Santa Clara Valley to educate on our water ecosystems and riparian life. This page will be Be in Nature’s monthly reporting resource. Come back in January to see the first update!
